Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and chief port. The city is set by the border of Atlantic Ocean. Though the political capital of Morocco is Rabat, Casablanca is usually considered as the financial, economic and business capital of the country. 

People, Ethnicities and Religions: 

The population of Morocco consists of 99.9% Arabs and Berber Muslims. The population in Casablanca seems to be increasing gradually while the current population stands at over 3,359,818. 


While the official languages of Morocco are Standard Arabic and Amazigh (Berber), the people mostly communicate using the Darija language (Moroccan Arabic). Among the foreign languages, French is the most spoken language in Morocco followed by Spanish and English respectively.
